Over five nights, we’ll gather in circle, ceremony, nature, and community — held by the magic of Taos and all she offers.
This retreat was born from a deep sisterhood and shared vision between myself and Naomi — two women called to create something elemental and alive!
One morning in quiet reverence, a feather landed just as I asked the universe for a sign.
It was the whisper of yes, the gentle nudge forward.
For me feathers have always been sacred confirmations — light messengers from beyond.
For Naomi, fire has always spoken: a fierce, illuminating force of healing and transformation, woven through her powerful shamanic work and deep connection to ancestral wisdom.

Taos is more than a destination — it is a living, breathing portal of energy, where sky meets mountain and spirit meets stone. Revered as a sacred vortex by indigenous peoples and mystics alike, this land holds an ancient presence that is both grounding and awakening.
Home to the Tiwa-speaking Taos Pueblo people, one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in North America, Taos is rich with cultural wisdom and ancestral medicine. Our retreat honors this heritage with a guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Taos Pueblo — a rare opportunity to witness living tradition and feel the heartbeat of the land.
Crystal Healing
This sacred landscape is also known for its abundant natural gemstones and minerals, including turquoise, quartz, obsidian, and garnet — each carrying potent energetic frequencies. During our gem mining experience, you’ll connect with the elemental energy of Earth and discover stones that mirror your own inner transformation.
Sacred Waters
We’ll also soak in the healing waters of Ojo Caliente, one of the oldest natural health resorts in the U.S., where mineral-rich springs offer deep restoration for body, mind, and soul.
These thermal waters, once held sacred by the native tribes of the Southwest, invite you to release, receive, and return to balance.

Welcome to Deer Mesa — the breathtaking home of our Feather & Flame retreat. Nestled on over 3 private acres in the majestic Taos Mountains, this luxurious 7-bedroom, 7-bath log lodge offers a soul-nourishing blend of wild elegance and modern comfort.
Just minutes from the artistic charm of Arroyo Seco and the vibrant town of Taos, Deer Mesa invites you into over 6,000 square feet of thoughtfully curated living space. With floor-to-ceiling windows framing the Sangre de Cristo range, expansive decks, wood-burning fireplaces, and radiant floor heating, every inch of this retreat space is infused with peace and possibility.
Whether you’re soaking under the stars in the outdoor hot tub, gathering for fireside connection, or winding down in the private 120” movie theater, you’ll feel held, inspired, and deeply at home. With three inviting living areas, central A/C, and dual kitchens, it’s the perfect sanctuary for our week of rest, renewal, and reawakening.

Naomi is a sacred space weaver and soul whisperer, known as The Joyful Shaman. With deep roots in Mayan healing traditions and Earth-based spirituality, Naomi guides others through profound journeys of remembrance, reclamation, and rebirth. She is a trauma-informed sound and vibrational therapist, breathwork guide, and intuitive ceremonialist who brings warmth, reverence, and joy to every sacred container she holds.
